We're both so familiar
How do you describe a dream? I don't have the words to explain my connection to Song To Song, and I don't think I could after 100 viewings. It’s a sort of inexplicable miracle. Terrence Malick captured lightning in a bottle and understands human emotion more than any other artist im familiar with. I first saw his film nearly a year ago and it immediately and permanently changed the way I view the world. Another reaction I can’t explain has been my fear to revisit this, or explore the rest of Malick's late work. Someday I know I'll get to it but I dont think I could handle it now.
